On Friday, June 2nd 2017 during National Accessibility Week, Corbrook welcomed The Honourable Ahmed D. Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (York South-Weston) to visit our West Campus. Minister Hussen met with Corbrook’s Executive Director, Deepak Soni and Board President, Judy Cooper to discuss some of the changes that have taken place at Corbook over the last year. Corbrook was able to share why we are vital to our participants and families in the communities we serve as well as showcase some of the innovative programs and services we are currently offering. Minister Hussen and his staff received a tour of our freshly painted facilities after our Dulux Colourful Communities Day and was also given a sneak peek at some of the new products we are going to be launching soon! The Minister shared a little bit about the Accessibility Act that is in development in Ottawa along with some of the great works that are in progress.
Thank you Minister Hussen and staff for taking the time to come visit us, we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
