I think more companies should embrace the opportunity to hire through Corbrook. Everyone learns in the experience not just the work-transition graduates. My entire staff has learned to be open minded. We have two employees who have been hired from the Corbrook program. They are both hard working and responsible. The Corbrook team is right there beside us offering any support we need.Ingrid Rochard, Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex
Corbrook’s unique employment services and life skills training help people with varying levels of abilities progress beyond a training environment, towards supported employment. In partnership with the JOIN network we also support employers hire and train individuals with developmental disabilities.
Corbrook has been supporting employers for over 65 years find the right candidates to get the job done. Let our Employment Specialist assist you in your recruitment needs.
Our step-by-step approach is personal and practical to meet the needs of both the perspective employee and employer. First, you will work with an employment specialist who guides you through an employment planning process helping identify needs, required abilities and employment related goals.
Once the employment candidate has completed a job readiness assessment and the employer is able to hire the Employment Specialist will set up the right training or placement opportunity. This could include a work trial to assess whether or not the job is a good fit.
Finally, the Employment Specialist helps the employee confidently enter into the work place, supporting them to succeed in your new role through job coaching.
